I hired Patrice in Jan of 2011 to provide individual 1:1 coaching to help me work though business and personal goals. Patrice is a top notch life and career coach. She helped me to prioritize and focus my energies appropriately as well as to learn to be less hard on myself and to increase my self-awareness, self-acceptance and finally self-love. Ability to See Others’ Superpowers

There are times when I feel as if I am a small child lost in a massive crowd. Confused, overwhelmed, unsure which way to go, I stumble, scrape my knee, and remain unnoticed on the hard pavement. Then, a smiling face appears, a woman with a gentle voice and a kind heart. She takes me by the hand, leads me out of the rush of people to a place where I am safe, where I can see more clearly where I am, and where I can regain my connection with those who love me. That woman, for me, is Patrice.

Once Patrice had rescued me from the fray and helped me recenter myself, the path I sought became clear to me again. I was able to re-shoulder my pack and head off along my purposeful trail.

Martha Beck writes “I’m not Batman, or the Forecast Phenom, or the Psychedelic Psychic, or whatever. I was born with just one superpower: the ability to see other people’s superpowers.” That is what Patrice was able to do for me–to see ‘me’ beyond how I see myself and to give me a gentle push this way or that to make sure I could see too. It’s like having blurry vision and suddenly finding your glasses–Patrice is like those glasses.

I’m not sure how to describe exactly HOW Patrice does these things. Maybe it’s magic. It doesn’t always seem like we are doing anything but chatting when we are on the phone. There are always a few things I write down. There are often some promises I must make–mostly to myself, but accountable to her. The rest just seems to transpire, somehow mystically guided by her pixie dust and invisible wings. She doesn’t talk about these powers. She’s too humble. But I know they are there. I see them when I have my glasses on.

Courage To Be Herself Again After Divorce

She Learned To Dream For Herself

I look in the mirror and I am starting to see what was buried under layers of guilt and low self esteem. Digging for buried treasure takes time and I started this process three years ago by taking Patrice Dickey’s “Get the Life You Love” at Evening at Emory. The idea that I could make my own “Treasure Map” and it didn’t have to include what my mother stated was my life’s path was a break through. The class engaged my imagination of what was possible. Patrice – like a dance partner – led us through the lessons and activities with a firm yet gentle touch that helped guide us toward personal growth. I gained the courage to start working on changing my life (set boundaries with myself and my family) and to deal with the obstacles without buckling under.

Expanded Vision Led to Intuitive Wealth
